Hey. I should have suggested this before your thread rolled over to page 2. Embarrassed

Before proceeding further get a motherboard speaker on her and let's let HER tell us what's happening.

I'm sorry it has been so long between replies.

i7-6850K is covered by all BIOS revision. Check that one off.

No Dr Debug. This one bothers me. Have you reseated the CPU, looking in the socket for bent pins? Do you have a shop nearby that will test only the CPU?

What 2800Mhz mem Kit is it you're using?

Check and double check the H60 is wired up correctly. Maybe just maybe the board for some reason isn't seeing a cooling system connected and shutting the processor down. That would keep power on other items, but I honestly don't know if that would be a/the reason Dr Debug isn't lighting up.

Something easier than pulling the processor. Pull the system out of the case, rest it on a plain cardboard box(nothing between them yet observe caution of static as it is winter dry air in parts), pull everything off(bare min. to allow booting) but the processor-H60(? Really? H60 on a 7850K?)-memory-GPU and see if it will post.

Too, before even doing that put a lesser GPU than that 1080 and see what comes.

I would rather not take off the cooler unless it's a last resort yet.

Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2800 (PC4 22400) Intel Z170

I went to the Corsair Forum and ran their power supply.  It passed their simple test.

Some more startup symptoms.  When I hit the power switch. the fans start up and runs for about 3 seconds.  Everything then stops for about three seconds and then starts up again.  I have power to the fans, the Blu-Ray burner, the cooler fan, and the graphics LED with the 2 fans there running for short periods.

I have also heard what sounds like a short hard drive startup.

The one wiring I am unsure of is System Panel Header, #23.  I have 3 separate 2 wire blocks coming from the cabinet.  These are labeled Power LED +, Power LED -, Power SW, H.D.D. + & -, and Reset SW.  The confusion I see is there are 9 spots to plug in 8 wires, and the confusion is that some of blocks plug in vertically, and at lease one horizontal.  The power switch works, but the reset does not seem to work.

Any more ideas.

Thank you.

I did not notice that this had gone to 2 pages.

A single graphics card in PCIE2.

Again, I did not notice the Page 2.

Before proceeding further get a motherboard speaker on her and let's let HER tell us what's happening.

I see where the speaker is suppose to be connected, but this cabinet does not have one.

I made sure my wiring matched the diagram: 1: H.D.D LED+, 2: Power LED+, 3:H.D.D LED-, 4: Power LED-. 5: Power SW, 6: Power SW, 7: Reset SW, 8: Reset SW, 9: Empty.

The wiring still does not make sense to me.

No improvement.

Should I contact ASRock support directly?
