Hallo,
have strange issue - when i update BIOS to newest version (2.50) my PC is not able to load Windows 10. Everytime i try to start windows, i get just restarting PC during loading. Sometimes i get into windows (rare occasion) but after short time, or when i try to run anything, pc gets restarted again. Simply - pc is unstable in win. I can let it turned on for hours in BIOS and no restart, but windows are not ok with 2.50. Any idea? Thanks. |

Ps. Currently i get back to P1.4 BIOS, which seems stable, but i am not able to overclock RAM (pc not even start when i try to set anything above default settings - 3-4 restarts during BIOS loading and then i get default settings).

Sounds like you will have to reinstall Windows if you want to use 2.5 because of the changes it's made to the way Windows identifies the hardware.

Was thinking about that too... no problem in that for me... Just wanted to know if someone had same issues and how they resolved them. I hope, i will be able overclock my RAM after update. But i am not sure about that too... |

So.... I formated SSD, updated BIOS to 2.50, installed fresh Windows 10, everything went ok.... But after installation, during loading to user creation screen (language slection), pc again restarted and never get into language selection screen. So issue still persist.

Then I would say go back to 1.4 until the next update.

Yes, i am on. But have another issue - cannot overclock my RAM. When i try OC above 2400 (stock) pc wont start - i should be able to go on 3000mhz with cl 15, but have 2400 with cl 17, which is very, very different. I thought, that bios update can help. XMP profile or manual setting, doesnt matter - PC wont start. Just stock 2400 and cl 17 is stable. Don't know, if i have somehow faulty MB or what... :( |

I'm also unable to get my RAM to run higher than 2400 currently, I'm using a Taichi board, so I don't think your motherboard is faulty, rather that's the current state of affairs for RAM. Hopefully AGESA updates later this month will allow better RAM compatibility and speed support. For the record, I'm using Trident Z F4-3200C16D-16GTZ and the best I can run it at currently is 2400 CL 12-12-12-12-30. One thing I would like to see included in BIOS updates is the ability to control command rate, as I suspect this may help some of us stuck with lower clocks. |

I am little bit confused... My memory modules are not on list, which shows oficially supported by this MB.But when i search for oficially supported ones, there are very few of 3000 MHz modules. But i didnt buy worst ones i think - https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/HX430C15PB3K2_16.pdf
I can work only on JEDEC settings. XMP wont work, manual setting wont work too. Do you think it will change with some update...? |

I can't run the XMP profile either and my RAM is also not on the support QVL list for my motherboard. I have to manually change the timings to get 2400 to work otherwise I get the training reboot loop until it defaults back to 2133. I do expect there to be some improvements with the next AGESA release, but at the same time I don't expect it to be a miracle cure that will make all RAM instantly work at their maximum settings.
