Hi Guys! I have boot problem as well. New h270m-itx/ac board. No additional vga, i5 7600k, kingston ddr4 16gb 2133mhz (in one slot)... Can't boot from dvd, can't boot from pendrive. When i try the result is the same: Windows dows logo appears and the machine gets frozen.. tried Windows 10 and 8.1 bootable usb made with rufus... Reset switch not connected... I have tried various versions of the pendrive formatting (eg fat32-mbr and fat32-gpt etc etc)
Can anyone hello? |

Actually most of the Time when the Windows logo appears, the machine retarts... Tried to disconnect SSD (no hard drive) and tried with hdd. Pendrive is in usb 2.0 port.. when try with dvd the boot fail át the same point...tired cmos reset, update uefi via internet. Tried to move the ram to the other slot... There is an installed win10 ön the SSD, tried to boot IT, but IT dies át the same point - the only difference is te "try to repair.." string under the Windows logo...
Can somebody help me? |

I have the same issue - but I think the problem is with the motherboard.
I recently purchased 40 of these motherboards, building identical units. Ram = corsair 16gb, i5 kaby lake. out of 20 builds, i have two units that will not software reboot. They will software shutdown - but will not restart. i have tried unplugging the reset switches on these two problematic units. Other units are identical (all machines are clones) and the others reboot properly. my next step is to swap out RAM on the problematic units / then swap out the CPUs. However, I strongly suspect that the problem is with the motherboard. |
