I have a Gaming K4 and the headphone amp worked before i had to reinstall windows now it no longer provides the amp as it used to.

It shows the sensing as like 15 ohms?  I changed the power to ultimate and it doesn't really do much not like it did before the reinstall. Unplugged and replugged in headphones and still nothing.

I have installed the latest, uninstalled completely (including deleting from hardware manager) tried the sound blaster and uninstalled that and no is working.

Here is a picture of the audio manager http://imgur.com/a/Wsu2c

I have checked all volume levels as well.

Sorry but we don't know what board you have. A very quick survey of ASRock boards results in four Gaming K4 models of just recent Intel boards. Add two AM4 Gaming K4 models to that, at least.

What model of headphones are you using?

The headphone jack you are using is on the PC case, not the board's IO panel?

You reinstalled Windows (same version?) and now something is different apparently. But it would help us to know what board, etc, we are dealing with.

The main problem is the volume level you now get is too low, is that right?

It is the AM4 X370 Gaming K4.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 ohm Studio Headphones are what I am using and they are for sure not being driven by the amp at all really.

I am using the boards I/O as thats the one that the amp works on, my front panel gets no amp support from the board (Amp doesnt show when using the front panel as well as no volume change) Before the reinstall of windows the boards I/O is what worked in regards to the headphone amp.

I reinstalled the same version of windows.

The volume correct is too low compared to what it was. I have used the headphones on other boards that provide the features and they work fine as well as a separate external DAC/AMP. I have tried other headphones and the same issue comes up for those as well.

Mine does not work on my Gaming K4 either after i reloaded windows 10 and was Crackling bad.  asrock techsupport was no help they told me to contact a huge list of software tech supports "ventrilo/discord/mumble/google" and the list goes on.   i uninstalled All audio drivers to fix the crackling but still no headphone amp.
