The multiplier seems locked @ 33 instead of 37. I'm using an ab350 k4 and an r5 1600.

Any tips? I set the clocks manually in the bios as they were prior to the update. I only updated to see if my RAM would work at 1.35 volts, which it didn't.

Now I seem stuck at 3.3Ghz for my CPU.

Try resetting you BIOS back to UEFI Defaults.

This situation is why I preach resetting back to UEFI Defaults prior to upflashing a BIOS.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/64wxqi/asus_prime_x370_lack_of_dram_training_voltageboot/

Does anyone have insight if this is true that the AB350 K4 board is booting at 1.2V before loading the manual setting of 1.35V? If it is, it may be what's causing memory training to fail during booting stage, quite a big oversight!

If true, which I don't believe, JimmieG from the link fails at considering/addressing not only(assuming) might the mem voltage be low BUT also possibly booting at 2133 JEDEC. His is speculation only. and rather loose one at that as I debunk/describe here.

Did I make that understandable there? I sux at that sometimes.

I had the same problem with the same build w/ update. Tried everything but couldn't for the life of me get it working with the same settings as i had in the previous version so I reinstalled the old version.

read my post on page 14 you will need to toggle the multiplier before you save if you change anything or else it will go to default value!

Thanks Wardog, I understood that :)
Will keep that in mind and try increasing some voltage a bit to see if that helps with the cold boot issue.

Agesa 1.0.0.6 and 1.0.0.6a deprived me of any OC.
http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=5621&PN=2&title=oc-problem

With 1.0.0.4 I can OC CPU but can't OC RAM to 2933MHz. Seems to Asrock Fatality X370 Gaming K4 does a real fatality to new Agesa :)

My Evga ddr4 3000 auto-sets itself at 16-16-16-35 on ab350m even though I manually set the timings in Advanced cbs. also, it won't stay set to 2T command rate. The reason I wanted to try 2T is because my trc is 66 and trfc is 491 and I wanted to see if command rate made a difference to those settings. When I manually try to set trc and trcf, it just goes back to the 66 and 491. I've got 4 8GB sticks OC'd to 2800 seemingly stable at 1.30V along with ryzen 1600 3.8ghz at 1.29V so I'm not complaing(yet), but I'm a little confused about trc and trfc. The RAM's XMP default settings are 15-16-16-16-35-51(trc=trp+tras). I know stability is only compromised if the trc or trfc is set too low but does anyone know what effect the high trc and trfc will have on performance with it being at 66 and 491?

I've had continued luck with my system.  Updated straight from BIOS 2.00 to 3.00. I even took the time to figure out how to actually enable turbo and xfr mode for the cpu..  So now my 1700x is finally jumping to 3.9Ghz in turbo mode.  And my RAM still sets to proper timings and boots using xmp profile at 3200Mhz.

what do you mean saying "it wont stay" ? If it works with 1T it should also work with 2T and use that setting.

If you set it to 2 and the setting is not used make sure you have GearDown mode set to disabled, otherwise the CR setting is automatically set to 1.

I would say you can consider GearDown mode as CR 1.5 , so:
fastest setting: CR 1 , GearDown disabled
medium setting: CR 1 , GearDown enabled
slowest setting: CR 2 , GearDown disabled
