Hi all, so it has been a couple days since I turned on my computer, and when I did it was giving me an error code related to memory I believe (3b, sometimes 2b) so I reset my cmos. This didn't fix the error so I reseated the RAM into different slots (A1/B1), now I only get the error 4b. Putting the ram back into it's original slots (A2/B2) now also goes from 3F to the 4B error. It turns itself off after a bit and then restarts on it's own, only to get stuck on the error again. There's absolutely nothing online about this error so I was hoping I could have some help with this. Many thanks.
Some info: X370 Taichi on 3.00 BIOS (been on it since July 15th) Ryzen 1700 (never overclocked) 2x8GB G.skill TridentZ 3600 CL16 (left at 3200mhz) MSI 1080ti FE Yes I've cleared CMOS. Yes I've tried unplugging it. Yes I've reseated everything at this point, unplugged all usb, tried one DIMM, in every slot. Same 3F->4B error. A quick search on the forum says 4B might be a brick, is this the case? Edited by Yokubo - 25 Jul 2017 at 7:55pm |

Put in a tech support request, pulled CMOS. Hope that helps but I'm pretty sure you're right about being left with a dead mobo. Thanks for the reply.
