Any reason to upgrade to AGESA 1.0.0.6a if everything is working fine with my system, anything new or fixed apart from the RAM compatibility?

Do you have the AM4 Advance Boot Training option, in the OC Tweaker screen, set to Auto (the default)? It's an option unique to Ryzen, so we are not used to dealing with it.

This option/feature is the cause of the multiple restart cycles during startup/POST. It is trying to tune the memory timing parameters of your memory, as CJG described above.

I've found that it did not help me get my memory at a higher speed than I could do manually. Set this option to Disabled to end the multiple restart behavior.

There is a sub-option related to AM4 Advance Boot Training, called Retry Count, that is not on the same screen as AM4 Advance Boot Training. It may be in the DRAM Configuration screen. It sets the number of restarts/boot cycles of the AM4 Advance Boot Training option. It is set to three by default, does three cycles seem familiar? You could also change the Retry Count to a smaller value, if this training helps with your memory OC.

I meant 2t wouldn't stay set. It doesn't bother me at 1T, I was just trying to see if it would make a difference for my trfc and trc settings. I tried disabling Fearon but doesn't work for me with 2800ghz with the ram. The whole thing just reverts to default settings. I'll keep tinkering I guess.

As for AGESA 1.0.0.6a I think it is the best Bios to date for ram
From my testing if your ram is stuck at lower speeds and cant get to 3200mhz
Set voltage to 3.8
Try setting the PROC manually from auto to 48 ohms (may take a few reboots before it holds !
After it gets to 48 it will stay and no more reboots for this setting.
And I use xmp setting and pick 3200mhz
This worked for me up to 3466mhz setting but to go higher I had to set
PROC to 60 ohms (for me it took allot of reboots to get it to hold at 60 but it will stay at 60 if everything else is stable without issue)
For me everything between 48 ohms and 60 ohms wouldn't help.
But at 48 and 60 once you actually get the settings to stick the computer boots up fine!
Now with these settings my computer boots up like a normal pc lol

I think some of the voltage , timings and proc settings just take a few reboots to get to there happy spot.
Also about the T1 vs T2 timings. My RAM will not boot at high MHz with T2 timings lol (The bios would keep setting my ram back to T2 for a lot of the reboots and this would never allow it to boot so you have to keep checking all of your settings to make sure they are correct everyting it allows you to get back into the bios!)
One thing with this BIOS is you have to look at all of your setting's to make sure they are correct EVERYTIME before you save and exit! It seems to not take all of the settings at one time. So this will cause a bunch of reboots and will need to go back into the bios EVERYTIME until all of you settings are True! When you go into the bios and all are set true THIS IS WHEN YOU NEED TO SAVE PROFILE!
If you just change settings and then save it is only paper and dos not mean anything in the background is what is on the paper!

WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A SAVE AND SHUTDOWN VS SAVE AND REBOOT
I bet this would alow the BIOS AND MB to ajust these settings easier!

But it all works just not for the faint at heart!

Fire Strike wouldn't let me validate because of driver but this is just for reference!
ASRock X370 Taichi : AGESA 1.0.0.6a
AMD Ryzen 7 1800X
G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (4 x 8GB)Model F4-3866C18Q-32GTZR
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3)
Driver 384.94

Done tweaking system!
Vid card is set halfway between stock speeds and max I could get it to run in this Fire Strike bench.
Everything is air cooled minus the 1800x which is using a H100-V2

Graphics Score 28,564
Physics Score 21,173
Combined Score 7467
21 397 IN Fire Strike (V1.1)

Asrock AB350 Pro 4
16gb (2X8gb)Corsair LPX CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 (@1.35v)

Still can't get over 2933Mhz with 1.0.0.6a. Its better than 1.0.0.6 as that release kept me at 2400Mhz max while 2.50 allowd 2933Mhz. At least my 3.8Ghv overclock seems to work fine as well.

Any tips for the AB350 Pro4 users?

I have the exact same RAM.

I'm running 2933 but at 14-14-14-34-48-1T 1.375v on an Fatal1ty X370 Gaming K4.
CPU is a R7 1700@3.9 1.35v.

I've given up on getting it to 3200 and looking at benchmarks, 2933 at tight timings is faster than 3200 at the rated 16-18-18-36-2T.

More detail: All LLC at Level 3, SMT still enabled.
