Hey, if it survives through a cold boot, then what is true is just true. No need to apologize for it.

But your point is, that is in contrast to another make of B350 board, that memory can reach that speed, right? No need to apologize for that, if so.

Just thought, some Corsair memory models have versions of the same model. Such as the Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 v5.39, that is included in AMD's memory compatibility list. Could that be the situation here? Not that every model of Corsair memory has versions, or that we may even be aware of them.

Or is the Corsair memory the same kit used in both boards?

thats exactly the point parsec
its more related to the brand of ram (as i know this is the asrock support forum)

when first told his selection of ram , i said well i'll *try* to get it running at the advertised 2400 speed and timings for you knowing that a lot of people with various brands of board were not overly lucky with corsair ram

imagine how happy i was when i tried the 2666 clock at stock timings and 1.35v,then on second attempt at 2933 we had successful boot and my usual quick but harsh stress test
(aida stress,cinebench,super-pi,and looping cpuz bench) it didnt blink an eye for 5 mins or so

so i thought id have a little brag Smile and of course share the info that the ryzen platform seems to be advancing gradually with its ram abilities
what i can say is the ram is the
corsair lpx 2400 2 x 8gb kit with cl 16/16/16/39 timings for anyone wondering or thinking or taking a 'punt'

the settings i used were
2933 @1.370 volts and 18/18/18/18/39     SOC volts set to 1.15 (no loadline features etc on that board)

i will update on the cold boot status

and corsair 2400 ram running 2933

on a brand x b350 board
