Hi,
I' m having some difficulty installing the cooler master hyper 212 on the EPC612D4U. The board comes with the back plate, so as with 1150 sockets ther is no need to use the one that comes wit the CL kit. The problem is the X bracket does not fit correctly on the back plate holes (where i put the raisers). Any help?

A CM Hyper 212 Plus is not compatible with a socket 2011-v3 board, sorry to say. Check the specs for the Hyper 212 Plus:
http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/hyper-212-plus/ Not only that, but the EPC612D4U board uses a different socket than the standard 2011-v3 socket. Your board uses the Narrow ILM socket, whose CPU cooler mounting points have a 56 - 94 mm mounting pattern. You need a CPU cooler that will fit the Narrow ILM socket. http://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=EPC612D4U#Specifications The standard 2011-v3 socket is called the Square ILM, with an 80 - 80 mm mounting pattern. You need a CPU cooler such as this one, designed for use with the 2011-v3 Narrow ILM socket: http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=productview&products_id=66&lng=en Be very careful when looking for compatible CPU coolers, the Narrow ILM socket is unusual and most CPU coolers will not fit. Thanks for the explanation. I missed the narrow ILM specification.
Even the CL i have is the 212 EVO. In the box is listed as 2011-3 compatible, but nothing said about "narrow". I 'll get the noctua.

Finally, i got the noctua.
I have the mb mounted in a Fractal Design R5 case. I wonder if the cooler won't put to much stress on the board as it mounted vertical and the cooler "pending" on it.
