Hi,
Recently I bought Fatal1ty X370 Gaming X,AMD Ryzen 7 1700 and 2 RAM kits - G.Skill Flare X BLACK DIMM Kit 16GB F4-3200C14D-16GFX.
After few days I want to install 2 more memory on my board.
Will it get any problem or other issue?

pan883, there are real memory experts here, but not I.  I suspect the sticks will work at least at the SPD speed but maybe not XMP without tuning.  Hopefully the experts will comment soon.  In the meantime, please post your specifications in your signature as I have and include your BIOS and OS versions and power supply.  Enjoy, John.

yes ultimately

the 4 sticks will not reach as fast a speed as ultimately 2 sticks will

may i point out you are already running dual channel mode (well at least you should be with 2 sticks anyway)

you might get lucky and get all 4 to run 3200  you might not

4 sticks has a big fat disclaimer that it wont work fast

but theres plenty of people running 4 sticks at 3200 or greater
this depends firstly on what ram you use
then the cpu's imc (controller)
and also the motherboard and its ability

Dear pan883,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

About your question, we may not suggest such memory installation method which installed another two DIMMs a kit x2 so that the 4 DIMMs are not in the same package.
For such memory installation, the system may encounter some unpredicted issues such as incompatibility, loss DIMM, no POST and so on??/div>
As a result, we strongly recommend installing 4 DIMMs a kit module on the system.
These memory modules have been tested by memory vendor and make sure the memory controller are compatible with each other?™s and also have the same quality.

We also list the memory module which can support 4 DIMMs.
Please refer to the memory QVL and then choose suitable device.

Thanks!

All the best,
ASRock TSD
