Hi, when I press F11 I get this menu which is completely broken as you can see https://i.imgur.com/8eHMpeO.jpg
Keyboard arrows don't work, Enter works (so I can just pick the first option), and mouse works so I can click on the 2 choices below. I tried multiple USB keys, multiple slots. I tried to settup the BIOS like this to boot on it by default (SSD and HDD disabled) https://i.imgur.com/efRt7Xw.jpg It doesnt work and boots on the SSD. I reset the BIOS, updated to the latest one, same problem. I didn't have this issue yesterday. I installed Manjaro meanwhile My specs: AB350M Pro4 1600X 16Gb RAM (Galax HOF) RX 480 8Gb Any help would be appreciated, thanks |

arh weve had this issue before
the threads are on here to search to read i think it was due to bios version or improper flashing of the bios try to backflash but USING THE DOS BIOS METHOD this will properly erase all traces of other bios files |

datonyb, how/where did you learn this?: "...properly erase all traces of other bios files ...". Does DOS do a better than FlashBack on my X399? Thanks, John. |

our friend and beta tester 'chew' who runs the taichi and threadripper overclocking threads over on overclockers mate
he also beta tests for asrock, and has some dealing with amd directly (and a not so small achievement of guiness world record overclocker) he found the taichi x370 was leaving traces/code from later bios's when he tried to revert back to earlier stable ones, his solution was to flash back to bios version 3 (for the x370 taichi) everytime with the dos files from a bootable rufus usb, this seems to properly erase the bios before writing, whereas the instant flash seems to overlay parts that it feels it needs to i would hazard a guess the tr would be the same mate ,you could always ask him directly on the taichi TR thread, he seems a very agreeable fellow to discuss things http://www.overclock.net/t/1638140/asrock-x399-taichi-fatality-overclocking-and-unofficial-support in a similar subject it seems the rog ch6 boys are having a bit of trouble now with there beta agesa 1072 (1007) and when flashing back get traces of the later bios remain (i have suggested to try the dos method to them as well) |
