ct275mx300ssd4 - SATA, M2_2 and SATA3_3 share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the other one will be disabled (by description).

That drive is not listed in the storage QVL, so it may not be compatible with the motherboard. You could try updating your BIOS - if you're not using 3.3 already - from a USB and seeing if that helps.

I have a Crucial 275GB part num ct275mx300ssd4
 it is sata m.2 2280ss ssd

Installed on the lower non ultra slot. 
not being picked up by motherboard.

I wanted to use this for a bootable drive

Am I missing something?
