OK, can i use my spare pciex16 slot with a 4x nvme adapter?  does the board have the switches required to split that 16x into 4x4?  Some of the caeds come with the switches on them.. 

Board - x399 taichi
proc 1950x
pcie cards - 1x rx 570

Oh, and is there any place to dl the graphic that the bios uses as the background?  I wanna use it as my desktop.

that pic doesnt load.. I've found the one that says 4x4 or 1x16.. but thats only for pcie 5?  Or is that for every one of them?

That pic loads fine unless imgur is blocked.  You can right-click and do View Image in Firefox to get a bigger version.  Might have to load it into another tab in other browsers.

Edit: And yes, that setting in the BIOS is only for PCIe4 (second from the bottom of the board).
