Hello.

In specifications for this motherboard mentioned that it supports type 2230 WiFi/BT module. I bought Intel® Wireless-AC 9260 adapter and installed it to M.2 slot. I tried different drivers and clean OS installations multiple times, but I cannot make WiFi work in any OS (Win10, WinServer2016, Debian9). Bluetooth works. I checked BIOS (1.30) for WiFi settings, but I did not find anything.

Does this motheboard support Intel 9260? If so, what I missed?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Like many others I'm having issues with M.2 wifi cards and getting them to work in my system.

I have installed two different M.2 Wifi cards in my J5005-ITX motherboard with the same results, the wifi portion of the card cannot start (Code 10). The two wifi cards I've installed are the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260, and the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265.

I troubleshot the 7260 with tech support after pulling my hair out uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, wiping the system clean and reinstalling everything, and any other suggestion I could find in the forums that people had success with. After giving up on the 7260 I moved on to the 7265 and got the same results.

My BIOS is the most current on the website (1.40), are these wifi cards not compatible or is there a specific card I should be getting that will definitely work with this motherboard and windows 10 pro?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks...

Additionally, the Bluetooth portion of these cards worked just fine...but never the wifi...
