Hi,
I have the Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac. It has a half-size mini-PCI Express slot, which comes pre-populated with a WiFi/BT module. I want to install a different PCI-E device (Vive wireless adapter PCIe WiGig card). I purchased this PCI to MiniPCI Adapter Cable in the hopes it would allow me to connect the card but it doesn't seem to be working. In theory, should this work? Is the connector on the board actually connected to a PCIe lane in the chipset or can it only be used with the included WiFi module? |
