Hello,

I assembled my PC yesterday and everything seems to work fine apart from when I plug in my speakers( front, back doesn't matter ). There is just lot of noise( cracking, static, etc. ). Should I just RMA the board( z390 extreme4) or just jump out of the window?

Thanks.

If you can still return it to the store I would just do that. Otherwise RMA

I have the exact same issue on the z390 Taichi... HDMI and Display Port to monitors works fine, plug in speakers to the sound card though and the CPU has insane interference problems. I'm quite afraid this might be a major hardware flaw.

Can't seem to edit on here so I want to add that I plugged in the HD Audio cable from my case to the motherboard and the front jack does not have the same issue.. so it is just the main jacks in the back which is a huge problem.

EDIT: Nevermind, the front jacks also make a high pitched whine if I drag chrome around or make the CPU spike in usage.
