Hello,

even with the new Bios P2.0 XFR is still not working on my Taichi. Why guys, why?

No matter what I change in the Bios setting, even with stock RAM speeds, the PC is not even booting if XFR is enabled.

Running an Ryzen 7 2700X and G.Skill FlareX CL14 for AMD specified.

Iam tired of this mess, switching to Asus now.

you talk about the bios option "XFR enhancement"? i think this is PBO and not XFR, but asrock named it wrongly? its very confusing IMHO.

i too had some questions about XFR and PBO. but no answer from asrock.
check this thread: http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=9279&title=xfr2-and-pbo

Where all the dignity of ASRock went, in the drain...

P.S. I feel sorry for JZ. He's a really nice guy but he put his money on the wrong company.

pbo/xfr have been fixed since 1.52 enable it and then manually set vcore offset to -0.09 to 0.07 which ever boots for you

because the default sets it to -0.1 which might be too low for some cpus

What doesn't make much sense to me is that originally -0.1 worked fine, for months. 1.52 comes out and slowly overtime my CPU becomes more and more unstable. It used to take 3 tries to startup into Windows, and it would randomly hardlock in the middle of the night on idle load, but would be fine at full load live streaming games.

Now -0.1 is completely unusable. I'm guessing it's the same for you gizmic? So basically, we are degrading our CPUs?
