I installed a Phantom Gaming Radeon RX570 on a computer set up for dual boot using Windows 10 and Fedora 29. The system works good using Windows but will not boot into Fedora. Grub2 boots fine but when Fedora is selected I get an endless stream of failure messages in text and Fedora never boots. I tried using nomodeset but that didn't help. Fedora boots fine using my old NVIDA GTX560 graphics card.

Dear Engqrc,

Thank you for posting your query to ASRock Forum.

We have checked ASRock Phantom Gaming X Radeon RX570 8G OC graphics card with the configuration below:
AB350 Pro4 (BIOS 4.70)
CPU 2700X
Fedora 29-1.2

However, we were able to go into the Fedora operating system.

Kindly try the suggestions below to see if it will work.
1. Kindly use different PCIe slot to plug the graphics card.
2. Please clean install the Fedora OS with version 1.2
3. Please clean the graphics card gold finger and re-install the card and try.

With thanks,
ASRock TSD

It may be caused by the Windows update error. You can do one thing, i.e, update the Windows and then restart the system. You can also check the Windows status. If it is not satisfactory, then reset the Windows following the steps given on URL=https://errorcode0x.com/resolve-windows-update-error-code-8007000e/]Windows update error code 8007000e[/URL] and get the better server.[
