IDK why facts make you upset. I cannot get this from another manufacturer because no other manufacturer sells a motherboard with this CPU.
Also take a look at asus. Instead of providing 10 types of memory no longer produced they have two dense pages of currently produced memory. Much better QVL. https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM4/CROSSHAIR-VI-HERO/C6H_C6Hwifi_DRAM_QVL_AMD7thGenA-series_Athlon_Processors.pdf |

That's obviously not the solution as the board advertises something it isn't delivering. The right solution would be to push a bios update for the board to get it to work as it says it does. Besides, on the sales page it does not mention anything about QVL and 2400MHz sticks are ones that it says it can support. |

Used to be that the memory did not matter if it was on the QVL or not. It doesn't matter what brand you are buying today, the boards are getting picky about the memory. If you look at the other mfgrs forums, there are many instances of memory not working with the board. Most of the time getting memory off the qvl was the solution. |

But this isn't a case of the RAM isn't working. This is that the ram is not running at the correct speed and there is no option in the BIOS to change it. At minimum there should be a 2133 and 2400 JEDEC toggle. |

Another day and still no email back from asrock. I don't think they have ever once replied to any of my follow ups. Oh well. Guess I will just keep sending in support requests.

I got another reply back today pretty much stating they will do nothing. I guess I am just going to keep sending them more mail. Another day goes by and still no solution.

2133 /64 = 33.328125
if 2400 /64 = 37.5 then wait(s) state would be implemented i think the bios is telling you the correct speed for that memory on that bus i can be wrong |

It says it is running at 2133. It is 2400Mhz memory. How would it be telling us the correct speed?
We need a bios update to fix this. There is NO memory speed option in the bios. This motherboard claims to support 2400Mhz ram. This is the most common stick of 2400MHZ ram in America. This needs a fix. |
