Uninstalling the driver and trying the Asrock driver again fixed the problem.
Thanks for your help! |

I have a H370M-ITX/ac and the Asrock supplied DCH driver works fine for me.
However I updated from the Asrock supplied driver 61XX as an intermediate step through Windows Update to the Intel device drive 25.20.100.6373 of 18Nov2018. Perhaps try the Windows Update driver upgrade first, before using the ASR supplied DCH driver, see tail of this thread for the steps to follow. Asrock has corrected the download urls on https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H370M%20Pro4/index.asp#Download for the VGA driver for your board, but this looks to be the same link as I provided in this thread. You can try to revert to the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter driver too before installing the ASR DCH driver, snippet from the Intel Graphics forum: 1. Use only drivers provided directly by your Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as they are customized and validated for your system configuration. Follow these steps to properly switch to the best OEM drivers for your computer: 1. Disconnect from the Internet. 2. Uninstall the generic DCH drivers via Start > Settings > Apps & Features. 3. Uninstall the (DCH) IntelĀ® Graphics Control Panel via Start > Settings > Apps & Features. 4. Restart the computer. 5. Reconnect to the Internet. 6. Go to Device Manager > Right-click on "IntelĀ® HD Graphics" or "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter". 7. Select "Update Driver". 8. Allow Windows Update to Search for the best drivers for your system. 9. Install the driver. 10. Restart the computer. If you currently do not have a DCH driver, uninstall the driver through the device manager to revert to the MS Basic Display Adapter driver, next Windows Update as described above and as last step try the DCH driver from ASR for your board |

The filename is wrong in App Shop and the product page of the 300 series Intel motherboard, that is why it fails.
See http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=11539&title=intel-6617-vga-driver-wrong-filename This should work: http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Drivers/Intel/VGA/Intel_VGA(v25.20.100.6617_DCH_PV).zip Unzip and double-click the installation .exe |

Hi,
Just tried to install Onboard VGA Driver version 25.20.100.6617_DCH_PV dated 14/05/2019 via App Shop but it fails to install. It says it's installed but when you check the version it hasn't and the update remains in the list. Any ideas? Thanks |
