Hello, thanks for replying.
I tried that and get the same message. Its essentially the same driver as ASrock has on their site i think. Damn. |

Hello!
First, a little background: My problem began a few months ago when I noticed systematic lag when playing online games(apex, fortnite) after 6 months of no problems whatsoever. I have since tried: -tracking packets for loss(none) -contacting my isp several times. -Technician has come over to confirm signal is great. -Drivers for GPU up to date. Windows updates are all there. -Wifi signal is strong. -No virus' or malware present. -Moving the PC closer to the modem and plugging it directly 2 months ago(worked though i could not keep the PC at that location.). Now, I have the following problem described after this list. -I also recently did a complete PC wipe(last week) and re installed windows. It fixed my online gaming problem for one day where i played 3 hours without any connection problem!!! Then the next day, back to 40kps average instead of 25mps that it gives me outside of games. This seems to be a clue but as to what, i am not sure. I dont have an internet problem or hardware problem i "think". Now: Recently, Ive tried plugging a longer, functional ethernet cable(tested with another device) into the motherboard to have a wired net connection in hope of solving my online gaming lag(severe drops in speed ONLY in game) but realized that it was not detecting the cable/connection. I have tried installing the LAN driver on the ASRock support section but i get the ''The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is ...'' message. I remember having the PCIE family controller appearing or something similar at one point but now, seems to not be there. Is that causing my ethernet cable to not be detected? Can anyone please shed some light as to if my cable problem is a driver related one? System: Asrock ab350m pro 4 Ryzen 5 1400 16 Gb RAM Nvidia Geforce 1060 3Gb Thank you for any assistance in the matter! |
