I wonder if the Taichi X570 MB/BIOS does a better job of managing the Vcore on the 3800X? I bought the Taichi X470 because of all the positive reviews - lower power usage, no chipset fan, expensive features that most would probably not need for several years, if ever, etc., etc. However, maybe the BIOS on the X570 is better suited to the 3000 series??

I have the 3700x and never really checked temps until recently .. sheesh!

I was running a Lepa AIO 240mm rad .. idle would jump from 32 to 50's and under full load hit 100c .. I bought a "cheaper" Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite ML240L w/240mm rad and got about the same results .. returned that and picked up a used Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4 CPU air cooler and range from 28c to 85c with 1 fan. While gaming it goes from 50's to peaking at low 70's hovering mostly in mid 60's. Better, but still waaaay to warm for my liking. Getting a second fan shortly to shave a couple C's off with push/pull. I have good air flow so I am surprised that it runs so hot. Reading other users experiences .. they post much lower temps.

I run the X470 Master SLI/ac. 3.50 BIOS. You peaking with 75c'ish with a faster chip seems "good" comparatively
