I recently installed the B450 Steel Legend mobo.
the problem I have is that there is no way to speed up the boot sequence. I have gone into the bios under the boot screen menu where the software manual shows there is a heading named "Fast boot", hower my bios does not have that ability, like it was omitted from my bios.
I sent a PM to ASROCK tech support, got a email that said it was read, however there has not been an answer to my problem.
It takes one "1" minute and "58" fifty eight seconds for my computer to boot up from the splash screen, and the beep. That is a ridiculous amount of time to have to wait for a boot process. My last mobo a "GIGABITE" booted in 11 seconds.
The funny thing is, I bought another ASROCK mobo and that one had that heading for "FAST BOOT"! I had to return it to the seller because it wouldn't produce any sound! So why doesn't this board have that fast boot header?
installed:
MOBO: B450 Steel Legend
UEFI: 2-30
processor: Athlon 200GE 3200m2 Radeon Vega graphics 319GHZ
memory: DDR4 2133-2X8192 (16GB)
graphics card: Gigabyte GV-N1030OC-2GI Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 OC 2G
HD: 1tb WD

Any thoughts would be welcome

What RAM exactly do you have? Really 2133MHz?
Anyway, for making the bios comeup faster:
- Select the XMP-Profile with that speed.
- Disable all components which you are not using.
- Disable CSM, if you installed the OS in UEFI mode
- Fastboot should be available in the boot section (there is maybe a
dependency to CSM, so disble CSM, restart into bios and see)
- You know fastboot? If it is on, you cannot enter the bios any more
(only after a CMOS reset), so save your settings in a profile.
Or install the Asrock Restart2UEFI tool under windows.
