Sent a message to ASrock support and had a really really bad experience. No clue on what to do now.

I updated my X370 board to the newest bios for using a 3900X, which did not function with this CPU at all.
Using a 2700X with the board and this bios is running well. But i did not test very much. Currently not in use.

The 3900X now sits in a X570 board for a new build. Looks good so far.

I used the 3800x temporarily in this board till my x570 mobo board arrived. Then moved the 3800x to the x570 and installed the 1600 on the b450m pro4.

Hey Ray,
I had to use a 3800x so I did an upgrade. Like you said, on the bios download page it says not to upgrade to 3.6 if using old cpu's, so that's why I updated only to 3.5.

I'll try contacting Asrock for the downgrade tool!

Thanks you so much

For a Ryzen 1600 on your board the bios version 2.00 with AMD AGESA PinnaclePi_1.0.0.6 is the best to use. Everything newer is related to newer CPUs only and might/obviously give reduced functionality for older CPUs.

The note "ASRock do NOT recommend updating this BIOS if Pinnacle, Raven, Summit or Bristol Ridge CPU is being used on your system."
should be added for the bios versions > 2.0 too.

Look to the other threads here (from the last 3 days) related to bios downgrade problems...

And/or contact Asrock support for a downgrade tool to bios version 2.0 for your board.

Updated my brand new B450M Pro 4 to 3.5 Bios and I can't get the OC Tweaker settings to work.
It doesn't matter if I set a manual vcore, soc voltage or cpu clock, when I get into windows everything is the same as in the auto settings(stock clock, auto voltages). That means I cannot overclock throught Bios.
Asrock bios download page says that I cannot downgrade, so I'm stuck with this.
Is there a fix or I need to wait? Since i'm using a Ryzen 1600 I cannot upgrade to 3.6.
