Hi,
I'm new here. Here's my system: https://valid.x86.fr/4fc991
RAM is brand new, dated this year week 40 and 23.
The RAM sticks are both dual sided, 8 chips at front and at back.
I moved the jumper near the pcie that allows me to use 1333Mhz ram.
If I insert just one stick any ddr3 slot, I can boot up and I can go to BIOS and select 1333 MHz and then I can reboot ok. No issues.
But if I put the second RAM stick, the system won't boot up, just fan spin.
If I reset the CMOS, the syetem will boot up. The speed will be 500MHz ddr3 1000. However if I select DDR3 1333, it won't boot.
I tried some settings but no matter what, the 2 RAM sticks won't run at 1333 Mhz but it will work at 1000 MHz.
If I move the jumper to default position, DDR3 ram will work at 800MHz.
I also bought some other single sided 1333Mhz RAM sticks from kingston and crucial and system will not boot up, no matter what settings.
Another thing I noticed is that BIOS says that RAM voltage is 1.60v, it's supposed to be 1.50v.
How can I have both RAM stick to work at 1333MHz?
