Typhoonburner shows Samsung as the manufacturer on mine, so I was using "Samsung B-Die" as memory type on the calculator. Changing it to Hynix, I get 14-16-16-17-30 42. So, almost the same as what that person on the other thread has.
I did not export/import the info, it wasn't working for me. I copied the info over from typhoonburner manually as the video instructed. |

As you can see, we both have CMK32GX4M2B3000C15, but different RAM!
So it is not enough by telling the part number. Obviously the Corsair factory used Samsung B-die because the Hynix chips wasn't available i think. The supported timings deposited are the same. I suggest to also read out the data of the other RAM stick, just to be sure that both are using Samsung B-die. If that is the case, you have luck and a good chance to get tight timings and/or higher clocks. If not, you should use Hynix AFR in the calculator, which gives primary 14-16-16-17-30 42 for @2933 16-17-18-18-30 42 for @3200 Samsung B-die would be primary 14-14-14-14-30 44 ... for @2933 and @3200 So you can play with the Calculator or stay with the already found stable setting. |

Yeah, I think for now since things are stable, I won't mess with anything... but if anything happens, I will try adjusting to one of those other settings.
Thanks so much for all your help to this point, it's been very useful! |
