I have a ASRock Taichi x570 and the addressable rgb header is not working.
the normal 4 pin header works but the 3 pin addressable rgb header doesn't and it is not being detected by ASRock polychrome sync and I can't find controls for it in the bios. Three reasons for why I think this is happening are 1 the header is damaged 2 this is because the ATX12V2 is not plugged in. 3. the motherboard is flawed Does any one recognize this problem |

I'm on a ASRock B450 Pro4 and have had problems with addressable RGB since flashing to a new bios when I upgraded from Ryzen 2700X to 3900X. I keep wondering myself and hoping there is a fix soon. There is something on the forums, but it was for a Steel Legend from what I read. I wouldn't recommend trying it since I tried do it with my version of the Polychrome. I managed to leave it on a static white color for now.

The method described here worked for me: http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=8147&title=rgb-led-app-issues

So did that actually work for you even though its for Z370 Extreme4? If it actually works why isn't that file available in the ASRock Taichi x570 downloads.
Is there the possibility someone could permanent screw up their motherboard and the ASRock would not have any responsibility to replace it since it wasn't listed in the appropiated download section? |

yes this actually worked.
The names of the scripts weren't exactly the same but you can just use file explorer to see what the script files are called or use TAB to autocomplete in Command Prompt. |

The files are not located in the downloads but instead where you installed the software.
By default it is in C:\Program Files (x86)\ASRock Utility\ASRRGBLED\Bin\ |

Dude if you ever figure out why yours isn't working please tell me because I don't want to have to drain my water-cooling to send it in and have to wait a month.

So for anyone who still have problems with this it seems there might be individual polychrome versions for different motherboards I use a b450m pro4 so I downloaded the polychrome version for my motherboard....(hope this helps)
Here's the link for the b450m pro4:https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450m%20Pro4/#Download |

I have tried the software for my motherboard, still no go. The rgb are plugged in the addressable but can not control. However if i go to led header 1 i can control them but red and green are switched.
