    Posted: 29 Jan 2020 at 10:15pm
Hello.
I have 2 different video cards in my setup - they have different features that I occasionaly need to use. When I need to do that, I usually just go to BIOS, change the initial video output and work with one specific video card.
I'm planning to buy an AM4 board, but I need to know if I I'll still be able to do it.
So, the question is, is it at all possible to do that in BIOS? And if it is, what board should I buy?

depending on what bios mode you are using

if you are on legacy it will use old tech first while uefi uses the opposite

e.g uefi dp>hdmi>dvi>vga

Ok, and what about the card placement? If I have card one in first PCIEx16 slot and card two in second PCIEx16 slot, which one would boot first in legacy and uefi modes?
