	Meh, I think you need a Z97 board for Broadwell.

	Wardog is correct. The Z97 chipset is almost identical to the Z87 chipset, the problem is the almost bit. That slight change is what is needed to support Broadwell at a hardware level. There will never be a BIOS update that will allow Broadwell on a series 8 chipset due to the physical incompatibility.
