Hi, new to the forum having just put together a new box in my move to Windows 10 finally.
ASRock B450 Pro4, AMD B450 AMD Ryzen??5 3600 +Wraith Stealth 500W be quiet! BN246 System Power 9 Corsair Carbide Series 100R Mid-Tower 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX Black, PC4-17000 (2133), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 13-15-15-28, XMP 2.0, 1.2V 500GB WD Blue 3D, M.2 (2280) SATA III 6Gb/s SSD, 3D NAND, Read 560MB/s, Write 530MB/s, 95k/84k IOPS, Retail The problem am having is on boot up, I get no signal to the monitor. Am connected via a VGA cable, but have also tried it with hdmi. I have an M.2 card installed and dvd drive, with the windows10 disc, ready to install, all the lights come on and drive spins as if it is doing something, but obviously I can't see what. I have tried various options on the memory slots, but back to the manual with A2 + B2 Have removed the cmos battery for a couple of minutes in hope of resetting it, but still no signal. I bought this montherboard as it said I would be able to run 3 monitors from it, its not for gaming so didnt want to install an additional graphics card. Any help would be appreciated. |

what are you running for a video card? the 3600 does not come with integrated graphics so you will need a video card if you do not currently have one.

I run the 3400g on an ASUS B350 Prime for my wife's setup .. she runs 3 monitors off of the 3 different video outputs from the motherboard and it's been a good setup for her. I'd go with the 3200g or 3400g as the onboard memory controller is a bit more robust than the 2200g and 2400g processors ..

Thanks for the quick response, it was getting frustrating.
In a discussion I had when I first bought the bits someone mentioned this. But when I read about the motherboard, it said it could run 3 monitors easily. So was hoping I didnt need an additional graphics card. But your answer seems to indicate what suspected. Have not built a desktop for about 6 years, so not up on the processors, should have had some advice before I started. Any suggestions for a good graphics card for a three monitor setup, not for gaming :( |

just about anything with 3 outputs on it will work for yuh as far as video card goes. You'll just need the appropriate video cables to match the outputs of your video card to whatever your monitor(s) take .. or return your 3600 and get a 3400g
