Hello everyone,
I bought 3 months ago my new ASRock Z390 TAICHI ULTIMATE motherboard. Unfortunately, a few days ago one LED on main biggest panel (left up a corner with all sockets) started to not work properly. That panel has 3 main LEDs (I assume that) and now that one in the middle started to light in another colour. When I turned it to be white, it's green (screen below). Before that, I got one error from PolychromeRGB software, but reinstall didn't help (screen below). Polychrome RGB: version: v1.0.60 firmware: v2.10 I'm running it on the latest Windows 10 Pro. How LED look like now with white selected white colour: https://imgur.com/a/qf4GRMG The errors I got when it started: https://imgur.com/a/FEFyotc Is it a hardware issue? Is it possible to verify if led died and it's hardware? Maybe it's known issue? If hardware, should I refund it with the store? I need that computer to work, losing mono for weeks isn't great but waiting with broken one will make my guarantee expired. Hope someone could help me here! Thanks in advance! Best, DaaV |

Dear DaaV,
Thanks for posting your query to the ASRock forum. Regarding your question, kindly try to flash the FW. Step 1. Download the latest 1.0.60 utility. https://download.asrock.com/Utility/RGB/PolychromeRGB(v1.0.60).zip Step 2. Uninstall the RGB Led utility and reboot. Step 3. Install the 1.0.60 utility and reboot. Step 4. Start the utility, it will detect the RGB hardware. Once detecting RGB hardware has finished, please check if the RGB can light properly. If it is the same please proceed to step 5. Step 5. Now we have to manually update the firmware via the command prompt. Step 6. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\ASRock Utility\ASRRGBLED\Bin\" Step 7. Execute "WriteFW.exe" Step 8. By the steps above, it will refresh everything for the RGB. If the same still happens, kindly uninstall any third party RGB software on the system and try again. Otherwise, kindly contact the store where the motherboard was purchased from for further assistance. With thanks, ASRock TSD Edited by ASRock_TSD - 18 May 2020 at 7:58pm |

Unfortunately, all of above solutions doesn't help me - LED light is still broken. I'll contact my store where I bought it.
Thank you for you support. Best, DaaV |
