I'm looking at getting a X570 Taichi in the next year or so, but beforehand I have a few questions:

Is the board T-Topology like the other Taichis? How does the Realtek audio control panel look like? (specifically, the Sound Effects tab in realtek's control panel)

Having to put up with ASUS their garbage SupremeFX i'm done with any board that does not use vanilla Realtek audio.

I have the Taichi, The Realtek drivers gave me trouble with my Z370 and also on this board. I use the generic windows driver.

I use the x570 Steel Legend and also end up having odd issues when I use "official" Realtek anything .. ie .. can't hear behind me in the only video game I play Hunt:Showdown. ...using the default windows driver and all things audio work as they are supposed to.

Same audio codec

Cool, I come from ASUS to escape their trash audio drivers and it looks like Asrock isn't anything better.. Sigh. Looks like i'll have to go with SuperMicro and Intel instead if I want sane audio.

That aside, would the X570 Taichi unofficially support Windows 7?

So basically there is no way to get no-fuss, sane audio with nearly every modern motherboard?
