OK, lets try... (and thanks for the hint with servethehome)

I would like to use eSATA / Hot-plug/-swap, but it seems that it is not working natively or with AMDs chipset drivers. Neither with a Win10-testinstallation or my productive ESXi installation.

If the manual is right, all eight onboard-SATA-Ports are connected to the x570 chipset. As far as i know, this chipset support hot-plug/-swap in general.

Whats the reason for this issue? Is this UEFI-related which means, ASRock Rack must activate this feature in the bios?

Isn't that just a settings in the BIOS for your SATA ports?

I can switch between AHCI and Raid in the UEFI, but there isnt any option which is called eSATA or Hot Plug.

Its the same. I am using a Ryzen 7 4750G Pro at the moment.

If the manual is correct, all eight onboard SATA-Ports are attached to the x570 chipset. Only the M.2Slots seems to be attached to the CPU.
