Bought a new case, MOBO, RAM and CPU for my son this Christmas and moved his SSD, Video Card and PSU over. We finished installing everything tonight, turned it on and all the fans started, lights turned on, etc. But... no video output. I did some searching on these forums and I've already tried the following:

  • Realized I didn't have RAM installed in A2 and B2, so I put them in the proper place.
  • Reset CMOS after doing that.
  • Swapped out the graphic card with 2 older ones I had laying around. Yes, they all had power going to them.
  • Moved 1 of the 3 video cards (the only 1 that fit) to the lower PCI-E slot. No luck.
  • Double checked that power was going to everything. As stated, all fans and lights (where applicable) turn on. I noticed every once in a while the stock case fan didn't turn on but that could be just an instance of a crappy case fan.
  • We tried plugging in headphones into the motherboard to hear the 5 beeps that others have mentioned indicate a video error, but nothing.
  • I can't find a sticker that indicates what BIOS it's running.

The parts...

  • Intel Core i5-9400F 2.9 GHz 6-Core Processor

  • ASRock B365M Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

  • Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

  • Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX Mini Tower Case

  • *old* Samsung 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

  • *old* XFX Radeon RX 570 4 GB RS XXX Video Card

  • *old* Corsair CX 430 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

I'm at a loss at what else to try.

No I'm afraid not. I returned the board to Newegg and got a different one altogether. I've had zero issues, so it clearly was a bad board.
