I recently ordered an Asrock x570 Taichi motherboard. I've read about the chipset fans having noise and "grinding" issues.
I'd like to get ahead of the curve and order a replacement fan from Amazon or another source now to prepare for what may be in store. I'd like to know if I can order a different fan than the Everflow and, if so, which specifications to look for to make sure it matches my needs and specifications. |

offering a thought outside the box
if able to not actually use the secondary nvme slots and carefull choice of which sata ports to use the chipset fan should be able to not ever need being ran/used eg gpu in direct pcie/cpu slot nvme in primary direct cpu slot and any sata drives on the direct cpu ports means the chipset wont have anything to do and wont make any heat to kick the fan in of course this depends on you not buying the x570 because you want to use all the extra pcie lanes |
