i try to upgrade from 1.70 to 2.60, i get black screen UEFI flashing i click Reboot puff black screen.
i return the mobo on retailer, they change me a new one the same BIOS version 1.70 im scared to re flash the bios. is there way to be safe?

Use the Instant Flash means and file. Do NOT flash any motherboard BIOS from or within
Windows.
If you need assistance with using Instant Flash post back prior to performing the flash stating so and I or someone else will guide you. |

Err, Update to 2.30 FIRST and leave the USB stick in the computer. After the reboot from flashing I believe you should see another flash procedure take place, the microcode part, which will again req the USB stick still in place.

is this right? im going to do 1.70 to 2.30 then 2.30 to 2.60 and 2.60 to 2.70.
The part that i get bricked is in BIOS GUI Instant Flash. it was 1.70 to 2.60 that i jump bios version. Edited by koadrian - 22 Jan 2016 at 9:31am |

now i upgrade full 2.70.
Tip 1.70 jump to 2.60 i get twice bricked. do the step by step BIOS update. by the way thanks for helping me. i setting up my OC on my computer.
