I just got an X570 Taichi and under support and downloads I see 12 drivers starting from "AMD all in 1" to "Asrock polychrome". There is no description of what these drivers do. Is there a description of what these drivers do and what I need?

The description mostly can be found in the archive...
But not all downloads are driver. AMD all in 1 with VGA driver ver:19.10.16_19H1_WHQL This is the important driver. But this is an old AMD driver package! You should use the latest X570 driver from AMD instead. Realtek high definition audio driver ver:8750.1 If you want to use the onboard sound... Maybe also outdated. Lan driver ver:23.0 Intel Bluetooth driver ver:21.00.0.4 Intel Wireless Lan driver ver:21.0.0.5 Intel Thunderbolt driver ver:17.4.77.400 If you want to use the onboard LAN, bluetooth, WiFi, TB... Maybe also outdated. You can use it but check on the intel side for updates later. The rest: SATA Floppy Image ver:9.2.0.120 Do you have a SATA floppy drive? AMD RAIDXpert2 utility ver:9.2.0.120 If you want to use RAID The other stuff are tools... |
