AsRock H61M-VG4 & GTX 750 Ti

The BIOS setting to select a video card is in the North Bridge Configuration screen, the very first option, Primary Graphics Adapter. Settings are Onboard or PCI Express. This is the standard option still used on the latest boards for the video source selection. If you keep a cable connected to the Onboard graphics, it might still be selected during boot.

But it seems clear your 750 Ti card is not being detected. No Device Manager entry or detection by the driver installation program.

The 750 Ti is a PCIe 3.0 card, your CPU is a PCIe 2.0 source. The card still should work or at least be detected using PCIe 2.0 as far as I know.

Did you ever use a video card in the H61M-VG4 board?

The 750 Ti is drawing power only from the PCIe slot. What PSU are you using? 20 or 24 pin connector from the PSU to the board?

Check the mounting of the 750 in the slot. Be sure the locking tab on the slot is opened before inserting the card, and then lock it into place. Are the contacts on the video card clean?

Xaltar wrote: I wouldn't trust a bundled PSU unless the case was a well known brand like Zalman, Corsair, Thermaltake etc. I would get a better, brand name 450w PSU for your system regardless of the GPU issue you are having. Often these bundled PSUs are not actually able to supply the power they are rated for. It is worth trying the 750ti with a better brand PSU to rule out power as the issue. I would still get in touch with tech support and see what they can tell you about your issue, there may be something they can do for you.
