My System:
Ryzen 7 7800X3D B650E PG Riptide WiFi 64 GB DDR5-5600 RTX 3090 In the UEFI I found two options for the base clock under OC Tweaker, BCLK 0 and BCLK 1. The first function is the "normal" BCLK with influence on the RAM and so on. But the second setting should only have an influence on the CPU. But it doesn't matter what I set there, it just isn't taken over. Why is a second option offered although it has no function? The processor can be overclocked via BCLK, that's not the problem. |

My experience in Overclocking ASRock boards is to enable PBO via BIOS, nothing else.
Being your question specific about OC options in BIOS I would advise you to open an ASRock support request https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp Good luck |

PBO is enabled on the 7800X3D, but it's of little use because it neither increases the boost nor unlocks the power limits (because the CPU is so energy efficient). However, I am more concerned with the fact that BCLK 1, i.e. the second option, apparently does not work at all and therefore it can be questioned why this option is then offered.
I will create a ticket, thanks for the link. |
