I have an Z170a-x1 motherboard in my new computer. Now, the computer runs fine, there are no problems with crashes, stability or heat wise but the motherboard emits every now and then a single short beep. Ram should be compatible, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2133mhz, and there have been zero problems while gaming.
This happens when Windows 10 is on, not during the boot up, and sometimes it takes an hour to occur again. HDD is new, and has no warning messages as far as I can tell from event viewer. Overwatch on epic ran fine for an hour, and Star citizen had no issues either. HWiever did show that the system fans (not cpu) stopped and sometimes slowed down, based on demand. RAM showed correct Clocks at both Bios screen and HWiever. I haven't figured out what is causing this, and I'm too worried to use my computer as it is. Edited by DelSak - 18 Sep 2016 at 8:34am |
