Hi guys,

I recently upgraded from a Ryzen 5 4500 to the Ryzen 7 5700x3d, and when installing the 5700x3d it showed incompatibility with the HyperX HX432C16FB3/16 dual channel memories, if you use just one memory the motherboard works perfectly, but if you install a second memory stick memory, the motherboard does not work with the 5700x3d, but with the 4500 it works perfectly with both memory sticks.

With two HyperX HX432C16FB3/16 sticks and the Ryzen 7 5700x3d, the motherboard goes into a reboot loop. With just one comb it works perfectly.

With the Ryzen 5 4500 this does not happen, and the dual channel of the HyperX HX432C16FB3/16 works without problems.

Note: Post Status Checker the RAM and CPU LEDs are on

Does anyone know what is happening?

Single DIMM on either channel works fine with 5700X3D?
If so, I've no idea how that can happen.
But if single DIMM works on one channel, but not on the other channel, that would mean the memory controller in the CPU, or one or more pins associated with the memory channel is broken.

The processor is new, I took it out of the box on the day of this post, the pins are ok, and yesterday I tested it with 2400MHz Crucial sticks and it worked in dual channel.

I believe it is some incompatibility of RAM frequencies or a BIOS bug, because with the Ryzen 5 4500 they work perfectly.

This HyperX HX432C16FB3 is 2400Mhz by default, according to the XMP it reaches 3200Mhz, it should work like the Crucial combs, so I believe it is some incompatibility or Bug.

hey guys,

I found the problem and it's just the HyperX HX432C16FB3/16, as I said in the previous post, I tested it with 8Gb sticks from Crucial 2400, STD models, today I borrowed STD 3200 models from Kingston and Crucial, they all worked perfectly, in single channel and dual channel.

Anyone experiencing the same problem, unfortunately, will have to buy other memory sticks. Because there is some incompatibility with the motherboard, as I can't even read the SPD of the HyperX HX432C16FB3/16, on an Intel motherboard I can.
