Just built a system around the Asrock E3C236D2I and Xeon 1245v6 - I selected the processor because it has integrated graphics and I wanted to leverage that for hardware acceleration on the system; which is a Linux server btw.
The board also has an ASpeed video controller built in for the BMC, for some reason the firmware is disabling the Intel iGPU altogether - the Kernel is not detecting it at all. I'm aware that I won't be able to use the iGPU in conjunction with the VGA - but I should be able to access the hardware within the OS at least, whilst still continuing to use the IPMI functionality. I've contacted ASRock support and have had no response - this is not on really as this should have been made clear; the chip is specifically listed in their compatibility list.
