1st - update to latest BIOS. Sometimes ASRock's beta versions are better than the mainstream ones... 2nd - make a total CMOS reset. 3rd - check all the cabling and components. Better re-seat everything. Make sure the 2 sticks of RAM are in the correct slots (check with manual for more info). 4th - open UEFI and set ONLY the XMP profile. Save and reboot. Report back after all this. I'm yet to see a Flare-X kit under-perform, even on an ASRock. Basically, these kits are the ones to have if you want fast RAM for Ryzens.

Hi there,
recently I got myself a new rig: ASRock X370 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming
AMD Ryzen 7 1800X ASRock RX Vega 56 8 GB 16 GB G.Skill X-Flare There's one problem though. I can't get the RAM to work at 3200MHz. Whenever I try to set it beyond 2800, the PC won't start and instead boots for 3-4 times in a row, resetting RAM speed. How can I make sure the RAM stays at 3200 MHz? Kind regards |
