I bought the DeskMini 110 in Hong Kong. BIOS updated to v1.20. Several problems -
  1. When bootup, the cpu fan is running fun speed and is extremely noisy. How to fix it?
  2. Does this board have a COM/serial port? If yes, how to disable it?
  3. The DC in jack, what is the tip spec? is it part of the mini-stx spec? I want to buy a backup PSU.

I am trying to build a hackintosh with it. Many people in another forum are interested as I am the first one to try using this board. Please help!

A very simple reason, sorry to say.

The M.2 ADATA SP550 is a SATA type M.2 SSD. The H110M-STX's M.2 slot does not support SATA M.2 SSDs.

It only supports PCIe M.2 SSDs, like the Samsung 950 Pro or OCZ RD400.

The specifications for this board say it does not support M.2 SATA SSDs, in the Storage section:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H110M-STX/?cat=Specifications

There is nothing you can do to make this board compatible with M.2 SATA SSDs.

We really must be careful when buying M.2 SSDs. There are multiple types (SATA, PCIe AHCI, PCIe NVMe), and we must be sure the M.2 slot on a board supports the M.2 SSD we want to use. Also, some PCIe M.2 SSDs may not be bootable on older boards.
