A very simple reason, sorry to say. The M.2 ADATA SP550 is a SATA type M.2 SSD. The H110M-STX's M.2 slot does not support SATA M.2 SSDs. It only supports PCIe M.2 SSDs, like the Samsung 950 Pro or OCZ RD400. The specifications for this board say it does not support M.2 SATA SSDs, in the Storage section: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H110M-STX/?cat=Specifications There is nothing you can do to make this board compatible with M.2 SATA SSDs. We really must be careful when buying M.2 SSDs. There are multiple types (SATA, PCIe AHCI, PCIe NVMe), and we must be sure the M.2 slot on a board supports the M.2 SSD we want to use. Also, some PCIe M.2 SSDs may not be bootable on older boards. |
