You must have a LAN cable connected to the LAN port as well as an active device on the other end. If the lights come on then the board is getting power. If not then the power is not getting to the board, check the PSU is connected correctly and if possible try another.

if the PSU is OK then the board is most likely dead.

Not that I am aware of no. If you are having lock ups and you are sure the drive/s are good then you should try replacing cables, change the power connector as well as different SATA ports from the board.

Is this a new problem or a recent development?

Also a list of your system specs, including power supply brand and model would be most helpful.

I moved Xaltars post to here and deleted your new Topic, ie: 1TB issues, seeings he was asking of your hardware.

Too, please refrain from creating duplicate posts/threads. It helps us Moderators immensely having what we need in one place/Thread.

You must have d/l the incorrect All-In-One Chipset Driver installer. These All-In-Oned Chiipset(not Graphics) drivers MUST be installed and likely missing by your description and now that question.

Below are links to the latest chipset drivers for Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, and Windows 10. The links are each for the x86 or x64 Windows version you have.

If you need help determining what version you have, please ask first before installing a possible incorrect one.

32Bit x86

64bit X64
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows+10+-+64

Please post back the results.
