as some of you know i was quite lucky from very early days with plug n play 3200 ram on my taichi
using the tridentz 3200cl15 8 gig sticks
alas due to ryzen/amd issues it has always ran at 3200 cl16/15/15/15/35/50 1t

each and every bios release since v1.5 i have tried to get at least cl14 timings out of this kit
(something which is easy peasy on intel boards)

i have been able to get it stable many times at cl14/3200 BUT NEVER the dam cold start up boot

eg i can save exit bios and go into windows ,but if i switch it off overnight then i get the beep beep cycle of death next day, and have to suffer the total reset of bios defaults

well now im typing this at 3466mhz cl14/14/14/14/28/42 1TClap
and it cold boots Beer

after mucho reading ,screenshots, and bios playing
things i had to adjust >

amd boot training turned to ON/AUTO
soc volts 1.1
ram volts 1.395
CPU VOLTS 1.35 (YES IT SEEMS THE CPU VOLTS DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE)
geardown mode = enabled  (despite advice from two very good gurus *stilt* and *chew* my board WILL NOT COLD BOOT with geardown off which is normal advice to have it off )
bankgroup swap = off
bankgroup swap alt = on

i will have to work over the next few days to see how much and what voltages i can turn down now

as well as getting the main subtimings better eg cl15 etc i have massively reduced some other lesser known subtimngs eg trfc etc

and have seen quite a good increase in ram performance

im waiting hopefully for one of the mods to assist me with a program to display ram timings in ryzen so guys can see exactly what settings to try and follow etc
