When I get home, I will try and mess with the timings and see if I can get a positive result.

Whatever the XMP 2.0 profile sets it at. I believe its 16-18-18-36 or 38 with the voltage at 1.35v.
The Ryzen 1600 is OCd to 3.85Ghz @ 1.3v EDIT: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIACVB5J33874&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= Edited by Tanner208 - 07 Nov 2017 at 6:40am |

Hey everyone, I'm looking for people who have this mobo and found the perfect ram so that we can OC it to 3200. I like this mobo but I was hoping to get my ram OCd to 3200mhz. Here is my build: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor ($193.67 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: ASRock - X370 GAMING X ATX AM4 Motherboard ($111.98 @ Newegg) Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($190.23 @ Newegg Marketplace) Storage: ADATA - Ultimate SU800 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($54.98 @ OutletPC) Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($43.78 @ OutletPC) Video Card: Asus - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ROG STRIX Video Card ($553.99 @ SuperBiiz) Case: NZXT - S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case ($61.99 @ SuperBiiz) Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($73.98 @ Newegg) Operating System: Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit ($88.89 @ OutletPC) Case Fan: be quiet! - Pure Wings 2 140 61.2 CFM 140mm Fan ($11.79 @ OutletPC) Case Fan: be quiet! - Pure Wings 2 140 61.2 CFM 140mm Fan ($11.79 @ OutletPC) Monitor: Nixeus - NX-EDG27 27.0" 2560x1440 144Hz Monitor ($469.99 @ Amazon) Total: $1867.06 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2017-11-06 16:34 EST-0500 As of right now, I can only get it to 2933mhz using the XMP 2.0 profile without putting it into a boot loop. Can anyone direct me to a post that can help me make the proper adjustments to voltage and such so that I can try and maximize my ram speed as much as possible? EDIT: Yes, I did update the BIOS to 3.2.0 Edited by Tanner208 - 07 Nov 2017 at 6:08am |
