Hi, I have Asrock MB (AB350n), Amd Ryzen 1600 and Sapphire RX580 pulse gpu in my computer. I built the computer 4-6 months ago and at the beginning everything worked fine. Few months ago I installed a new SSD drive, which I think revealed a HW bug of some sort in the system. 33% of the times I boot the computer it works correctly 33% of the times I boot it everything runs terribly slow. Even the GRUB menu where I select which operating system I want to boot in to. The mouse cursor lags, and for example webpage scrolling is unusable. If I launch a game, Doom 2016 for example, I get 7 fps. 33% of the times computer starts normally, but after 15-30 minutes of using it starts to gradually slow down. I'm using bluetooth headset and in games, a strange rattling noise starts occuring. I have two SSD's in my system, Samsung 960 in m2-port, and Samsung 860
connected to Sata. I'm quite sure this is not operating system related,
I'm using Linux but the problem occurs even if I try to boot a linux
live-cd. I'm totally clueless on how to fix it. I don't even know where to start to look for the problem. I have reset UEFI, I have updated UEFI, I have disconnected the other SSD, but nothing fixes. This might be related to my Sapphire GPU or Asrock MB I think. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. |
