Hello,

Is ASRock Z370M Pro4 compatible with TPM 2.0? I need it to run Credential Guard.

Dear Binarylab,

ASRock Z370M Pro4 has a TPM header support ASRock TPM 2.0 module.

Thank you!

Yours truly,

Thank you for your answer.

I hope you're right. There is no mention about version 2.0 in your link, just info about - 1 x TPM Header.

The information in the user manual is a little bit confusing.

TPM Header (17-pin TPMS1) and according to your own site TPMS1 means TPM ver. 1.2

I'm not sure what to think about it. It would be strange if Asrock use TPM 1.2 in 2017/2018 motherboards because you need 2.0 for modern Windows 10/Server2016 security features like Credential Guard.

I just realized I don't need to buy TPM module because firmware based Intel(R) Platform Trust Technology is available in BIOS and it support TPM 2.0

I just enabled it and it's working fine on my Hyper-v 2016.
