which agesa u talking about? llc u dont need with this board when cpu clocks are set to auto, cpu voltages are handled by cpu no? well tbh i think u can set it up xmp options? those "options" are written inside your RAM modules, want more? edit your SPD table inside your ram kits btw what is your bios version?

The X370 Fatal1ty Gaming X does not have it's LLC settings disabled, manual LLC settings are not and never have been supported on that board. As Kerberos_20 said, LLC is not necessary with that board's power design, it is handled at the hardware level. The Gaming X is not an "overclocking board" it is meant to provide all the benefits of the X370 chipset at a low price point (for the chipset). It overclocks reasonably well but will not achieve the same kind of overclocks that more expensive boards with more advanced/beefier power designs can. It's a great board for the price but should not be confused with high end X370 options. Despite it not being designed with overclocking in mind, with a good CPU you can still get very decent overclocks from it, just take a look at Kerberos_20's 4.1ghz on his 1600x. All too often people blame their motherboard for a poor overclocking CPU, the reality is, the "silicone lottery" expression exists for a reason. My 1600x can hit 4.2ghz on my X370 Taichi and manages 4.1 on my Fatal1ty Gaming K4 (the predecessor to the Gaming X). This is however with water cooling and 6 140mm fans howling away in my case. In the end, the X370 Fatal1ty Gaming X is typically the cheapest X370 board around, at least it is in the country I live in. The fact that it performs as well as it does for it's price is exactly where ASRock shines. If your reason for being angry is poor overclocking performance be aware that there is a good chance the issue may be your CPU just isn't up for it. You may well get a little more out of it with a more expensive board but not a lot in my experience. The difference between 4.2ghz and 4.1ghz between my Taichi and Gaming K4 amounts to less than 50cb points in Cinebench R15. In the end, if that is worth something to you then by all means, return your board and get something built with overclocking in mind but in my opinion, it isn't worth the extra cost for a performance increase you will never actually notice in day to day tasks and gaming.

oh well, am4 has currently 2 agesa branches first one (oldest) was called SummitPI which ranged from 1.0.0.0 up to 1.0.0.7? i think, which was for first ryzen gen (summit ridge), once ryzen 2nd gen became available (Pinnacle Ridge), it got switched with PinnaclePI editions, version numbers got reset, it once again started with 1.0.0.0, which may add to confusion, otherwise u can call it 1.0.0.8+ if u like, as it it just continuation of older versions as for auto high cpu voltages, that is handled by your CPU, not BIOS first gen ryzen can get up to 1.6v on auto, so I don't find it abnormal it hits 1.4v with second gen, it is part of auto overclocking mechanism, feel free to disable core boost features, (xfr/pbo) maybe show pic from hwinfo64 sensors, otherwise cpu should be on average sitting at around 1.2v with 0.9minimum 1.5v maximum +- as for ram timings, mine setup may not help you at all, i have dual sided samsung B die ram modules with cl14 at 3200+, your pc will not post with mine settings as amd officialy supports 2666mhz for this ram type, asrock supports 2933, board design can sligtly affect ram overclocking potential, but 3200xmp should work fine on those boards (single sided kits), otherwise stability timings woulb be tcke,tfaw one thing to note, sometimes ram may be 100% stable, and other times it may be unstable, that would be due to ram training, bios (agesa i guess) has few preconfigured timings, once u reset your board, it will shuffle through those timings until it finds some which can actually post your pc (doesnt have to be 100% stable), but it will post, same apply when u use XMP and keep timings on auto, timings may change over time (dunno why, dont ask me), so what was once stable can one day became unstable on its own...leave nothing in timings auto, manualy set it up and issue is gone :)
